Nervous about touching your eye? Our staff teach you to put lenses in and take them out with confidence, at your own pace, before you leave the office. We follow up to make sure the fit is right.
Why a contact lens exam is separate
A contact lens sits on the surface of your eye, so we measure the curve of your cornea, check the tear film and evaluate the fit. A glasses prescription alone isn't enough to order contacts.
Questions
Can I wear contacts if I have dry eyes?
Often, yes. The right lens material, a daily lens and a dry eye plan can make contacts comfortable again. See our dry eye page.
