What we check
- The retina and its blood vessels, through a dilated pupil
- Swelling at the macula, the center of your vision
- Early cataract and glaucoma changes, both more common with diabetes
Working with your doctor
After your exam we send a report to your primary care physician or endocrinologist, which many diabetes care programs require.
